Time to leave Ohrid and head to the capital with some excursions in between.I took the road going from the National park Galichica,It was beautiful as it climbed to the top through some curves.Could spot lot of motorcycles and as i sit at the view point at the top,my ears were filled with sweet joys of Inline 4’s taking the corners down below 🙂
Some water village as you exit Ohrid
I reached Prilep via Bitola and as i checked the google maps i saw a beautiful looking lake stretching for many miles.I decided to go and have a look at the Kozjak lake, however there was no road further connecting to Skopje.Which means i had come back to Prilep to continue towards Skopje, but who cares anyway i have got fuel and i have got will to explore..So i headed to see what lies around the Kozjak Lake. While i was riding the trail next to the lake, one of my riding boots fell somewhere which was hanging with the luggage in the back.I was in two minds, whether to continue or to go back and look for the missing boot.
I did took a U turn to find the boot, but it was gone.Didn’t find it anywhere on the road :/
I stayed for the night in Prilep.Next morning i headed straight for Skopje, but couldn’t contain myself to take a detour
I ended up riding to a dead end where i found some very beautiful trail and mesmerizing views from up there. From that day until today,i am still unable to locate which road i took and what was the town name where the road ended.
I came back on the road towards Skopje and the highway i was following was named after Mother Teresa. She is quite known/respected in India and rest of world. Her contributions in India towards poor and sick is peerless. She also won nobel prize for peace for doing charitable work for Poor.
