It is a landscaped park, built on the western slope of Jurong Hill. Bit far from the center we can reach easily here by taking a metro and bus. Jurong Bird Park is now a world-famous bird zoo where there are specimens of magnificent bird life from around the world, including a large flock of flamingos. It is currently the world's largest bird park in terms of the number of birds, and second largest both in the number of bird species and land area (after Germany's Weltvogelpark Walsrode). Entry fee for the park was 20 SGD.Park was so big, that there was a tram facility to move around the park. But that service was for 5-10 SGD extra.I decided to explore the place on foot, which is the best way to catch the beauty of the place in detail, save some bucks and be healthy. Now let the show begin...
